Evaluation of Coxiella burnetii infection in the human population in Northeastern Italy.
This project, carried out in collaboration with the Istituto Zooprofilattico delle Venezie and the University of Padova, aims to evaluate the human risk to get Coxiella burnetii infection by those subjects which are occupationally exposed (veterinarians, breeders, agricultural workers) and non exposed (blood donors) to the infectious agent. Whithin the project, the necessary analyses will be carried out by means of serological assays (ELISA, IFA).
